Thirteen prospective ISIS recruits have been arrested by operatives of the Kano Command of the Nigeria Police Force. The suspects were arrested yesterday with fake ECOWAS passports on their way to Libya, as they were suspected of travelling to an unidentified ISIS recruitment camp. The Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, confirmed their arrest during a visit to the state police command. Ganduje commended the state Police Commissioner, Muhammad Musa Katsina, on his efforts to rid the state of criminals. The suspects were arrested by police along Karfi road, few kilometers from the Kano metropolis.
