A fatal road accident in Ganjuwa local government area of Bauchi state today April 19 has claimed the lives of at least 20 people comprising 11 males, five females and four children. It was gathered that the accident occurred at Huturu village along Bauchi-Kano road at about 11:30 AM. The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Bauchi command, Yusuf Abdullahi, who confirmed the accident explained that it was caused by speed violation. He added that the accident involved two vehicles with a minibus Sharon vehicle with registration number no: 1. SHD 184 YU and Gold 3 Volkswagen with no registration number.
