Nigeria crashed out of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament after Tunisia defeated the Super Eagles 1 – nil in the Sunday night face-off. Some media users took to his social media pages to criticize Okoye, blaming him for the loss due to his inability to catch a shot from Youssef Msakni of Tunisia. Some even sent him death threats.
