Alabi Takes Over From Odumosu As Lagos CP

Mr. Abiodun Sylvester Alabi is the new commissioner for Lagos State Police Command. Force spokesperson, Frank Mba who announced in a statement said the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba appointed him today, January 21, 2022.  CP Haruna Gabriel Garba and CP Tajudeen Akinwale Abass have also been ordered to Yobe and Benue State Commands, respectively, by IGP Baba. “The IGP has charged the newly posted officers to ensure they consolidate and improve on the gains of their predecessors, particularly in the areas of crime-fighting and public safety”, Mba said.
