President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met with House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara and Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal. The duo of Dogara and Tambuwal drove in one car to the forecourt of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja. The closed-door meeting, which took place inside the president’s office, lasted about one hour. Asked if the meeting was about the House of Representatives, Tambuwal, who is a former speaker of the House, responded: “Not at all.” On whether the issue between the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and the APC National Chairman John Odigie-Oyegun was discussed during the meeting, Tambuwal said: “I don’t know about that.”
