A Magistrate Court in Abuja has granted bail to Sahara Reporters‘, Omoyele Sowore. Recall that he was arrested Sowore alongside other activist on New Year’s Eve in Abuja for holding a protest against bad governance. Chief Magistrate Mabel Segun-Bello admitted Sowore to bailing of the sum of N20 million and two sureties in like sum. In addition, the court ordered Sowore to remain in Abuja. He must also physically report to the court registrar weekly pending the hearing and determination of his case.
