Nigeria has recorded 12 additional COVID-19 related death. Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on social media. 296 new cases were also recorded across 14 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). According to the NCDC, Rivers State ranked the first, displacing Lagos, the epicentre of the disease with 63 cases, while Lagos followed with 49 cases. The total number of COVID-19 deaths now stands at 2,689 while the total infection from the pandemic currently stands at 204,752. A total of 192,943 Nigerians have been discharged nationwide.
