Following the death of former Bayelsa governor, DSP Alamieyeseigha, there are mixed reactions trailing his passing. Many Nigerians have expressed this on the social media services. Recall Alamieyeseigha escaped from London having jumped bail in December 2005 by allegedly disguising himself as a woman, though he later denied this claim. On 12 March 2013, Alamieyeseigha was pardoned by immediate past president Goodluck Jonathan, but his case was again recently reopened as the UK government, 5 days ago, requested for his extradition.
Below are reactions from Nigerians on Twitter following the news of Alamieyeseigha’s death:
Ajagzy Okunrin Ogun: My intelligence service friend says he needs to see Alams’ corpse and DNA before he would accept his death is not an “arrangee”. NA wa…
Onabolu: He has been cremated so no corpse. Hmmnn
Born2Rule: Alams can’t just die like that! He must be cremated before everyone to be very sure. That guy is capable of anything
@sunday_oguntola: Alams, Alams, Alams, you cannot die now o. Return back to life. We need you to answer questions. You were the next in line for questioning.
@DeliciousAmina: First time UK made noise, Alams became a woman. They hve made noise again and he has turned up ‘dead’. Can we try for a 3rd? Return of Tupac?
@tundeleye: Reading about Alams death. And thinking of the great story it would make for a novel if its a ruse.
@zebbook: The news of Alams death gets one genuinely concerned about Diezani’s health. We speak life into your body Aunty, we can’t afford to lose you
@jag_bros: I’m already thinking of so many angles to dis Alams “alleged” death …. Kaii !!!
@MsToluh: If Alams is dead, oh well. The monies he stole caused deaths of many Nigerians old and young, male/female. Miss me with the RIP bull****
@dotfag: If ALAMS had invested 30 percent of his loot in a General hospital in Yenogoa, who knows maybe the story could have been different.
