The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) has arrested two men who allegedly aided and abetted Ekiti Governor Mr. Ayo Fayose to launder part of the cash reportedly collected from the Office of the former National Security Officer. One of them, whose name was given as Abiodun Agbele, was reportedly arrested at a location in Lagos while reportedly trying to doctor vital documents relating to some property he had bought for the embattled governor. The names of the others arrested by the commission were not made public at press time. Confirming their arrest EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren said, “It is true that we arrested some men who were fronting for governor. They are in our Lagos Office. That is all I can say for now.”
