A former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Customs Service, Abdullahi Dikko Inde, has been hospitalised shortly after his arrest in Abuja by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Dikko, who was at the EFCC office in the morning of Thursday June 16, 2016 to answer questions over allegations of financial crimes was later hospitalized when he complained of ill-health. According to an EFCC official, Dikko is still under the custody of the anti-graft agency but was not detained by the commission because of his ill-health. Dikko is being investigated over the source of the funds with which he acquired the palatial mansion located at 1, Audu Ogbe Street, Jabi Abuja valued at over N2billion.
