The Federal government has directed the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) Headquarters, Abuja to immediately close NIN enrolment activities. This is to make the process of NIN enrolment much easier from Monday, January 18th 2021. This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Head, Corporate Communications, NIMC Kayode Adegoke. Meanwhile, the deadline for linking of Sim cards with NIN by the government remains 19th of January deadline. It should be recalled that the Federal government had directed all telecom subscribers block subscribers who fail to link their Sim cards with their NIN from January 19.
