The National Identity Management Commission, today launched a Mobile Application to aid the enrollment of the National Identification Number. Femi Adeluyi, an aide to the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, disclosed this in a statement. The ministry said the NIMC Mobile App, and an improved National Identification Number slip have now been made available for public use. “The App provides a secure channel for all Nigerians and legal residents to easily verify and authenticate their identities on-the-go using smartphones. It also enables them to link the NIN to their phone numbers,” the statement partly read.
