Four Chibok school girls have matriculated at the American University Nigeria (AUN) in Yola. The 4 girls were among the 24 Chibok school girls who escaped from Boko Haram in 2014 and were offered scholarships under a special preparatory program by the university management. The matriculation ceremony for new students in the school was held recently in Adamawa. According to the statement from the management, 18 winners of the 67 competitive AUN scholarships for postgraduate programs were also among those who took part in the ceremony and other several intakes who were transferring from other universities in Ghana, Lebanon, Egypt, the United States and some European countries.
