Former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, yesterday said he has no pending case with the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission(ICPC). Last week, there were reports that the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami, had written to the ICPC Chairman, directing the reopening of corruption cases of 31 former governors. Daniel was reportedly listed as one of the affected former governors. Speaking on this allegation, Daniel said, “I categorically declare that I have no issues with ICPC whatsoever and I am sure that a mistake have been made either deliberately or otherwise in this issue and others.”
