Abductors of Kaduna’s Greenfield University students have threatened to murder the remaining victims in their custody. Over 30 students including a staff of the privately-owned university, Greenfield were abducted from the school on April 20, 2021. The bandits killed 5 of the victims when their demand of N800 million ransom was not met. In recent developments, The Punch reports that the leader of the kidnappers, Sani Jalingo has demanded another ransom of N100 million and ten motorcycles. Jalingo also threatened to kill the remaining students if the ransom demands were not provided by the Kaduna State Government or the students’ family.
