Argentina striker Sergio Aguero has announced his retirement from football. The announcement was made at a tearful press conference held at Camp Nou with his Barcelona teammates in attendance. The 33-year-old was diagnosed with a heart problem about a month after he was rushed off the pitch due to breathing issues. The argentine was signed by FC Barcelona from Manchester City at the end of last season. Although he had a successful career of about a decade back at Man City, he hasn’t made up to ten appearances for Barcelona. “I have decided to stop playing professional football. It is a very hard moment but I am happy with my decision. My health comes first”, he said.
