‘How Senator Iyabo Anisulowo was kidnapped’ – Aide recounts

An aide of former minister, Senator Iyabo Anisulowo has disclosed how she was kidnapped on Wednesday.  The aide Wasiu Afonja, speaking of his experience said,“We were attacked  in a ‘commando-like’ fashion. Our phones were collected before Mama was taken  away. They ordered the three of us, who were with her, to lie down. They beat us with machetes. The men spoke in English and Yoruba. Mama kept asking them what they wanted but they didn’t answer. It was later in the evening that we discovered the abandoned vehicle at Iganokoto,”
