One of the three persons declared wanted by the Nigerian Army over his alleged links with Boko Haram insurgents, Ahmad Bolori has said the military is wrong to have declared him wanted alongside Barrister Aisha Wakkil and Ahmed Salkida. Bolori disclosed this yesterday in an interview while maintaining that he had no links with Boko Haram insurgents.According to him, the Nigerian Army made it very clear to him that he was not under arrest even though he was interrogated by a team of Colonels and Generals at the Maimalari barracks in Maiduguri before he was transferred to Abuja, where operatives of the Department of State Security Service also questioned him. Bolori said his only role in the Boko Haram saga was that there was a time he attempted to link Barrister Aisha Wakkil, also known as ‘Maman Boko Haram’ with the authorities to assist broker peace between government and the insurgents. Meanwhile Bolori last week told BBC shortly after his release that he doesn’t know where the Chibok girls are because he has no links with Boko Haram.
