The Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose has challenged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to make public the statement it extracted from the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.) as well as from his (Fayose’s) personal account details to allow Nigerians know their contents. To this end, Fayose is claiming that he has N382 million in his two bank accounts frozen by the EFCC which the anti-graft agency is alleging were used for money laundering. In a statement issued yesterday by his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, he said Fayose spoke at the weekend during an interview programme on a radio station based in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, FRESH FM. Fayose is claiming that contrary to what Nigerians are made to believe, the total amount in his 2 accounts frozen is N382 million made up of N300 million in his fixed deposit account and N82 million in his other account.
