2020 is a year that won’t be forgotten in a rush. One of the thousand reasons it won’t be forgotten in a while is the number of hot movie releases it hindered. However, that’s all in the past now as 2021 promises more films across all genre. The releases slated for 2021 are so exciting. We can’t wait to see them.

#1) Tom & Jerry (2020)

Opening on: February 26, 2021 (formerly March 5, 2021), with simultaneous release on HBO Max
The classic animated television series gets a big-screen update in the form of a live-action/animated hybrid in which mischievous mouse Jerry moves into a hotel on the eve of a big wedding and forces the wedding planner to bring Tom into the picture to get rid of him. When an even bigger threat emerges, Tom and Jerry are forced to work together to save the day.
#2) Coming 2 America (2021)

After over three decades, it looks like Prince Akeem — ahem, King Akeem and Semmi are returning Stateside from there homeland of Zamunda. Much of the original cast are returning, including James Earl Jones as King Jaffe Joffer and John Amos as Cleo McDowell, as Akeem learns that he has a long-lost son he never knew about who might be the heir to the throne.

Though both a 3rd instalment of the Kingsman franchise and a Statesman offshoot are still in the works, fans will first be offered a taste of how the entire concept was conceived from the beginning with this prequel, which was set in the early 1900s. The King’s Man is also one of the top 10 most anticipated movies to be released in 2021.

The She-Ra reboot has been making waves on Netflix, so it’s normal to expect He-Man to follow it. In the wake of the ‘87 cult film flopped at the box office, the stage is now set for a reboot which puts all that campy goodness on screen.

Paramount has formally announced a release date of March 5, 2021, for Jackass 4; let’s wait and see who will be on board.
#6) F9 (2021)

- Starring: Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena, Lucas Black
Then the Fast Family will be back for another action-packed installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise. One of the top 10 most anticipated movies to be released in 2021. It was initially billed to open in May 2020. However, it was postponed for almost a year to take the slot originally reserved for Fast & Furious 10.
#7) Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)

Director Destin Daniel Cretton’s Marvel entry is set to join the big leagues for his Asian blockbuster , Shang-Chi.

Talking about old stories for new audiences, LeBron James‘ much-anticipated sequel to Space Jam will finally hit screens in 2021. Space Jam 2 will be a blockbuster movie in 2021.
#9) Sherlock Holmes 3

- Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Rachel McAdams, Jude Law
Since Robert Downey Jr. is free from the MCU, now is the perfect time to finally release the long-awaited sequel to Sherlock Holmes. In 2012, it’ll have been 10 years since he and Jude Law last had their mischievous friendship in Victorian England.
#10) Black Adam (2021)

Since at least as early as 2014, Dwayne Johnson has been attached to feature in Black Adam. The Rock’s much delayed will finally appear in the cinemas.
