Adeyinka Alaseyori has broken silence about the bashing she received from veteran gospel artiste, Tope Alabi, over her gospel track titled “Oniduro mi e seun”. Tope Alabi had, in a now-viral video, condemned the lyrics and title of the song which translates to “My guarantor, I am grateful”. According to the Alabi, “God isn’t a guarantor, he is more than a guarantor”. She added, “The Holy Spirit cautioned me when I had the intention of using such eulogy.” This take by Alabi was trailed with widespread criticisms and reactions. However, in a live video, Alaseyori had implored Nigerians to embrace unity and worship God. “Let Jesus Take the Wheel. Mummy Tope Alabi is our mother, she is a mother to me and so many, and by virtue we have been blessed by her ministration, please and please, let us worship God, let us Celebrate God. Let Jesus be at the center of it all. Hallelujah”.
