Nigerians have continued to show support and love to those affected by recent flooding that has ravaged almost half of the country, According to data released by the Ministry of humanitarian affairs, the death toll has hit over 500 people making it the worst flooding Nigeria has seen in a decade people. It added that more than 2 million people have been affected by flooding particularly across parts of the country’s south after a particularly wet rainy season.
See how Nigerians are reacting:
So sad to see the hundreds losing their lives in the floods in the various states of Nigeria! May their souls Rest In Peace! Need strong climate action. Adaptation and mitigation plans need to kick in.

The floods of 2022 in Nigeria may be the largest, most impactful natural disaster in living history – now affecting 33 states. If steps are not taken, water bourne diseases will spread raising the death toll. This is a crisis and should be the no 1 story. #NigeriaFloods

My relatives in PH and Yenagoa are sharing videos of flooded compounds and roads. The floods have displaced 300 communities in Bayelsa. Instead of spending money on campaign posters and social media ads, set-up a fund and GIVE to the affected communities.

The fact that the media is either downplaying or not reporting the news on the Flood situation ravaging the country still dey burst me head. Not a single person holding Buhari accountable.
