Nigeria’s inflation has declined to 17.75 percent in June from 17.93 recorded in May 2021. The ‘Consumer Price Index Report for June’ released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Friday revealed this. Nigeria’s consumer price index (CPI) is a measurement of the rate of change in the prices of goods and services. This indicates a drop in inflation for the third consecutive month. Further more, it shows that although prices have continued to increase in June, 2021, it is doing this at a slower rate that it did in May.
