There was pandemonium at Obalende, Lagos Island today as rival factions of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW clashed. Sporadic gunshots were heard around the Ken Salem House during the clash which started around 8am. This clash has disrupted business activities in the area and led to panic in the area as motorists, passengers and passersby scampered for safety. The cause of the clash is still unknown as at the time of filing this report. Various video footages from eyewitnesses as flooded the internet. The videos posted showed people running to safety onto and under the long bridge.
