Biden lifted the immigrant visa ban placed on Nigerians and other countries by his predecessor. Just one week after taking office, Trump had announced he would suspend entry to travellers from Nigeria and other Muslim nations like Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Eritrea and Sudan. Among the 17 executive orders and presidential actions Biden signed today were the order to end travel restrictions and immigration from the countries. . “There’s no time to waste,” Biden said before signing the executive orders in the White House. “These are just all starting points,” he added.
