Pastor Ayo Funsho Raphael of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Mission has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen. Raphael was kidnapped during service last Sunday at the Resurrection parish of the church in Kabba junction in Lokoja. Numbering about 10, the gunmen stormed into the church auditorium at exactly 9 am and ordered the entire congregation to lie down.Raphael was then dragged barefooted into the bush while the gunmen shot sporadically into the air to facilitate their escape. According to sources, the kidnappers have opened lines of communication with the church demanding a sum of N50 million before the pastor would be released.
