The National leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has declared that the casualties of the Lekki shooting need to answer some questions that will help the Lagos State Government to understand how to react. Recall that on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, some soldiers allegedly shot at #Endsars protesters who had convened at Lekki toll gate. He stated this while speaking to reporters after a solidarity visit to Lagos state governor, Babjide Sanwo-Olu at the Marina State House. He said his visit to the governor was to sympathize with him and the victims of the Lekki shooting. In addition, to ask him if he ordered the operatives of the Nigerian Army to unleash terror on peaceful protesters. Tinubu also debunked the rumour that he travelled out of the country. “I didn’t go nowhere; I’m a Lagosian and I still hold the title of Asiwaju of Lagos and I am still a Jagaban”, he said.
