The Tompolo Foundation, founded by ex-Niger Delta warlord, Mr. Government Ekpemupolo, otherwise known as Tompolo, on Friday, awarded scholarships to seven Gbaramatu indigenes who bagged first-class degrees from the Benson Idahosa University, Edo State in furtherance of their education anywhere in the world. The seven students are Ikpa Aza-Ere Deborah, Odiki Seimiekumo Otogo, Biriyai Rachael Akpos, Fianka Diamond Tamarabra, Okoro Evans Beke, Ari Ebomotimi Ephraim and Boleidowa Lucky. According to the Executive Secretary of the Tompolo Foundation, Comrade Paul Bebenimibo, “We all belong to Nigeria . They should be good Ambassadors of this country and also good Ambassadors of the foundation and to come out in flying colours to contribute their own quota to the development of their fatherland.”
