Popular Yoruba film producer Seun Egbegbe at the time of this report has been remanded in prison by a Lagos State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Ikeja for allegedly stealing nine iPhones. Egbegbe pleaded not guilty to a count of stealing brought against him by the Lagos State Police Command. Magistrate Aje Afunwa however granted Egbegbe bail in the sum of N1m with two sureties in like sum, but directed that he be kept at the Kirikiri Prisons until his bail conditions were met. Recall Egbegbe was arraigned following an accusation that he allegedly stole 9 iPhones at the Computer Village in Ikeja, Lagos. On picking the phones, he allegedly told the sales boy that he wanted to get money from his car parked outside. He allegedly attempted to escape with the phones in the waiting jeep when the sales boy raised the alarm. Egbegbe was in police custody for two days until he was arraigned on Thursday.
