Nollywood Actress, Rosy Meurer has taken to Instagram to clear the air about the widespread rumour surrounding her marriage to philanthropist, Olakunle Churchill. Social media was set abuzz when Churchill, the ex-husband of actress Tonto Dikeh, introduced Rosy as his wife in an Instagram birthday post. This is majorly because Tonto’s marriage to Churchill had crashed about three years ago after allegations that her husband was having extramarital affairs with several women including Rosy. 29-year-old Rosy had vehemently denied the accusations claiming that Churchill, who was then are husband, was like ‘a mentor and family’ to her. Therefore, Churchill’s shocking revelation was met with heavy criticism from Nigerians who trolled Rosy has the cause of Tonto’s failed marriage. However, the Gambian-born actress, in a recent video, as debunked the rumours and explained the circumstances that led to her marriage. According to her, she allowed God’s will to take its course in her life. She said; What I was accused of became my reality and my fate. What would be would be. You cannot change it. You cannot force it. I am not God. I mean, it just happened. I let God’s will take place in my life. I never forced myself on him. It just happened that he became more than a brother. He became a lifetime partner.’’
