The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described President Muhammad Buhari’s regime as a failure. This is in reaction to the President’s statement of not wanting to leave office as a failure. Buhari disclosed this while speaking during a closed-door meeting with service chiefs at the statehouse on August 19. However, in a statement by the party’s publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, PDP stated that the expression by the President is just damage control. “President Buhari and his APC have failed in their three-pronged promises of security, anti-corruption and economic development. They have instead wrecked all sectors of our nation life with no hope in sight”, the statement read in parts.
